An Introduction

As this is my first blog post on my first blog, perhaps an introduction is in order. I am a 50 something IT professional, with CGI as my hobby. As you may have gathered from the title, this blog will focus on how to keep your online privacy, in the face of repeated attempts by UK politicians of all major parties to snoop on all your online communications. I am NOT a security specialist so you might want to check with other sources before relying on my advice! Politically I'd summarise my views as that all three major parties are an untrustworthy shower who cheat on their expenses and seek to 'manage' the electorate rather than represent them. I am a paid up member of the pirate party. Nick
